
Shannon Ames joined Brookfield in 2008. She directs public policy analysis and strategies in the eleven states where Brookfield operates and in Washington, DC. Ms. Ames is responsible for Brookfield's political and regulatory relationships at all levels of government within the United States. Before joining Brookfield, Shannon was Director of Environmental Policy within the Senate of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Ms. Ames has broad experience in political campaigns and with management and technical consulting groups. Her consulting roles took her to Europe, Asia and Australia. Shannon holds a BA degree from Colby College in Maine and a MBA from Boston University. Shannon is also a board member of the Independent Power Producers of New York and The Waldorf School of Lexington (MA).
